Mission Statement
Seminole Education Association is a professional organization committed to actively and collaboratively advancing public education by empowering, supporting and advocating for the educators we represent and the students we serve.
About Us
Seminole Education Association (SEA) represents all teacher-based employees in Seminole County. SEA is the recognized bargaining agent for Teachers. Each building or cost center has a Faculty Representative who is your SEA contact for receiving information from SEA and answering your questions about SEA.
Faculty Representatives attend a monthly meeting so they are up to date on the latest information at local, state and national levels. Questions or concerns should always be brought first to your Faculty Representative, but if they are unable to answer your questions, please contact SEA’s President, Gay Parker, who is released full time to represent members and is available at the Seminole UniServ Office. The SEA bargaining unit includes Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Media Specialists, etc.
